For people who deliver remote work and want to live anywhere
Earn in hard currency. Live anywhere.
A club for digital nomads who deliver: they master their craft, earn in hard currency (dollar, euro, pound) and live wherever they choose. Not a job board, not "a dollar salary without leaving home". Method, tools and sources for the three pillars of this lifestyle, written by someone who lives it.

The three pillars
Mastery → Value → Liberty.
You master the work, it creates value, and value buys freedom. All three carry the same weight; Liberty is the consequence of the other two and the pillar where digital nomad life really happens.
Mastery
How do I deliver well, from anywhere?
The skill of your craft and the discipline of delivering remotely: time zones, a one-laptop setup, async routine, security and workload. Tracks by profession; the first one is data engineering.
Value
How do I earn, keep and grow my value?
Earning in hard currency (positioning, the intermediary chain, contract, company setup, FX, tax), spending deliberately and investing in your money and in yourself. What counts is value per hour.
Liberty
How do I live anywhere, with time?
Geographic freedom (places, visas, tax residency, one bag) and freedom of time: fewer hours, not just more places.
The Code
Seven principles. For people who want to live this way.
- Mastery
- Stay sharp.Technical mastery, always: study, practice and keep current; tools help, but they do not think for you.
- Be committed and disciplined.Deliver what you promised, from wherever you are, and honor your word and your client's confidence.
- Value
- Focus on growing your income.Raise both the total and the rate per hour: prioritize what pays most and cut what pays little for the time it takes.
- Spend deliberately and invest.Every expense buys time or costs it; invest in your money and in yourself: reserves, skills, health and network.
- Liberty
- Choose where you live.Depend on no single place, boss or time zone: the address serves your life, not the other way around.
- Protect your free hours.Freedom is time: work fewer hours, not just in more places, and never trade free time for income without deciding to.
- Keep your life in order.Contract, tax, visa and health up to date: that is what sustains freedom and keeps it from becoming a risk.
Who it is for, and who it is not for
It is for you if…
- You deliver remote work (data, software, product, design or another technical field) and want clients who pay in hard currency.
- You already earn in hard currency and want the freedom to live anywhere without losing delivery quality.
- You get stuck on what to charge, how the money reaches you or how to keep your routine while travelling.
- You prefer tools and verifiable text to motivation.
It is not for you if…
- You are looking for your first job.
- You want a promised salary or timeline. There is none here.
- You want to earn in dollars and always stay in the same place. The goal here is freedom.
- You want to sell low-ticket work on freelance marketplaces.
Where people who want this life usually get stuck
Five blockers. None of them is technical.
I do not know how to price myself
Without a reference, you either charge a local salary rate or guess a number and lose the conversation.
I cannot see the chain
Client → agency → consultancy → you. Each link takes a cut and you only see the last one.
Proving you deliver, remotely
Interviews, portfolio and reputation without being in the room. On the data track: shuffle, skew, modelling and CDC, which almost no course trains.
Money crossing the border
Export invoices, tax regimes, FX, US tax forms. Mistakes are expensive and nobody explains it all together.
Fear of losing quality
Time zones, routine, infrastructure, burnout. Delivering well from anywhere is a system, not luck.
The program
Eleven modules, organized by the three pillars.
Every lesson ends with a deliverable (a text, a spreadsheet, a calculation). Everything is written and checkable, with sources and a review date. The lessons are in Portuguese today; the English version and video are in preparation.
- The map of the gameHow the market pays and the four entry channels.
- Senior positioningFrom "I build pipelines" to "I deliver results". Anonymized proof and the list of what you turn down.
- Profile and proofA one-page CV in English, LinkedIn, GitHub and a case study, without breaking an NDA.
- The intermediary chainHow much each link takes, when to have zero, one or two, and which market to sell to (US, UK or Australia).
- Opportunity pipelineReferrals, partner consultancies, cold messages, recruiter screening, cut-off rules.
- Technical interview (data track)SQL, modelling, Spark, streaming, pipeline design, English. 30 exercises with answer keys.
- Negotiation and contractAnchor, floor and target; termination, non-circumvention, publicity and IP clauses.
- The Brazilian money machineCompany setup, tax regime, export invoices, FX, W-8BEN-E, first-year reserve.
- Operate and be freeInverted time zones, a single laptop, tax residency, real workload and exit.
- Sharp in the AI eraValidate every AI output and keep the skill the contract pays for.
- Data and agentic AIWhere AI agents fit in data engineering and where they do not. More lessons soon.
Value: modules 0 to 4, 6 and 7. Mastery: 5, 8 (remote delivery), 9 and 10, with the data engineering track. Liberty: 8 (tax residency and exit) and new lessons on places, visas and time, in preparation.
Who writes
No face for now. A record instead.
Rafael Ignaulin is a senior data engineer, working today on B2B contracts with large companies. He joined one of the largest companies in the world at 20. He lives as a digital nomad: more than 15 countries, keeping delivery on the client's clock.
What you can check: billion-row pipelines; a 98% cut in the data read by a Spark job; an AI agent in production; AWS and Databricks certifications, with honest expiry dates on the CV; a master's degree in progress (Georgia Tech, OMSCS).
What you will not see: client names, personal rates, made-up testimonials. Someone still inside a contract cannot open what the clause closes, and that is the credential, not the limit.

Questions
Do I need to be a data engineer?
No. Value and Liberty apply to any professional who delivers remotely. In Mastery, the technical track available today is data engineering (SQL, modelling, Spark and streaming); other fields come as demand appears.
Is it only for people paid in dollars?
No. Any hard currency works: dollar, euro, pound. What matters is income that sustains the freedom to live anywhere.
Do I need fluent English?
You need to read a contract, write a technical email and get through an interview. Module 5 trains technical interview English; it does not replace fluency.
Do you guarantee I will land a contract?
No. Anyone who promises that is selling what they do not control. Here you get method, tools and the right questions.
Will there be video or a live cohort?
It is in preparation, for the plans. Today the material is written: text can be checked, searched and updated. Every lesson has sources and a date, and when something changes the page changes and goes into the errata.
Is the material in English?
The site is bilingual. Lessons, tools and the glossary are in Portuguese today; the English version is in progress.
Do you sell your time?
Not in the program. The product is the material and the tools.
